Tool install paths

Every pack includes INSTALL.md. These are the same paths — use them when the tool doesn’t auto-discover the folder.

Recommended: npx skillux login → npx skillux add <slug> → npx skillux update. Manual paths below are for unzipping from Account → My skills.

Skillux CLI

    npx skillux login

    Opens the browser to authorize this machine.

  2. 2 · Install
    npx skillux add saas-landing

    Writes the pack into your agent skills folders.

  3. 3 · Update
    npx skillux update

    Pulls newer versions for packs you already installed.

Copy all three

npx skillux login npx skillux add saas-landing npx skillux update

Example uses saas-landing — swap in your pack slug on the skill page. Use -p to install into the current project. Credentials live in ~/.skillux/credentials.json.

Target path

~/.claude/skills/saas-landing/
  1. Download the saas-landing zip (button above, or Account → My skills).
  2. Unzip the whole pack so SKILL.md sits at ~/.claude/skills/saas-landing/SKILL.md.
  3. For one project only, use .claude/skills/saas-landing/ at the repo root instead.
  4. Restart Claude Code / start a new session, then describe the product + primary CTA.

Folder name must equal the skill slug (saas-landing). Nested zips confuse discovery.

Target path

.cursor/skills/saas-landing/
  1. Open the project that will receive the generated site.
  2. Unzip the pack to .cursor/skills/saas-landing/ so SKILL.md is at .cursor/skills/saas-landing/SKILL.md.
  3. Optional global install: ~/.cursor/skills/saas-landing/ (available on this machine).
  4. Start a new Agent chat — invoke with /saas-landing or let Agent pick it up from context.

Keep the skill folder intact (SKILL.md + templates/). Do not rename SKILL.md to .mdc.

  1. Unzip the pack to .agents/skills/saas-landing/ at the repo root (or current working directory).
  2. Confirm SKILL.md is at .agents/skills/saas-landing/SKILL.md.
  3. Optional user-wide install: ~/.agents/skills/saas-landing/.
  4. Restart Codex or Windsurf Cascade, then prompt with product + primary CTA.

Both tools discover .agents/skills from CWD up to the repo root. Prefer the project path for team shares.
