Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Skillux — the store, website, CLI, and skill packs we sell.

1. Agreement

By creating an account, buying a skill, running the Skillux CLI, or otherwise using skillux.dev (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.

2. The Service

Skillux sells designer-authored UX skill packs for AI coding tools (including Claude, Cursor, and Codex). A purchase gives you download access to pack files (such as SKILL.md, templates, and sample interfaces) — not a hosted site generator, and not ownership of Skillux trademarks or platform software.

Catalog contents, pricing, and tool support may change. Features marked “demo” on the site are illustrative and may not process real payments or refunds until launch systems are connected.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your password and device tokens confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Purchases, plans & billing

We offer single-skill purchases, a Library annual plan, and Team seats. Plan details and commercial limits are summarized in Licenses and on the pricing section of the home page.

Prices are shown before checkout and may exclude taxes or payment-provider fees where applicable. Payment is processed by third parties (for example card processors, Wise, Waffo Pancake, or wire for teams). Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in account review.

5. License to skill packs

Subject to payment and these Terms, Skillux grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use purchased packs in supported tools and to ship work you create with them, within the commercial scope of your plan.

You may not

Generated site output you create for clients is yours to ship under your plan. The skill pack itself remains licensed, not sold as redistributable source. More detail: Licenses & commercial use.

6. Refunds

Single-skill purchases include a 14-day no-questions refund from the payment date, as described in Refunds. Library annual and Team seats may be refunded within the first 14 days of the billing period; after that, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or for clear billing errors (duplicate charges, accidental second buy of the same skill).

Request via Contact or support@skillux.dev with your order ID and skill slug. Refunds go to the original payment method. We do not refund for generated output you already delivered to a client — the pack is the product.

7. CLI & device authorization

The Skillux CLI lets you sign in and install packs you are entitled to. Device codes, tokens, and download requests must stay under your account. Do not automate scraping of the catalog or share CLI tokens to bypass seat limits. We may revoke tokens that look compromised or abusive.

8. Authors & marketplace submissions

If you submit skills for sale, you warrant that you own or control the rights to the pack, that it does not infringe others’ IP, and that listed pricing and descriptions are accurate. Revenue share, review, and payout timing follow the packaging / author docs (Skillux takes a platform fee on sales). We may reject, delist, or remove packs that violate these Terms or harm buyers.

9. Acceptable use

10. Intellectual property

Skillux, the site design, branding, and platform software are owned by Skillux or its licensors. Skill packs are owned by Skillux or the listing author and licensed to you as above. Feedback you send may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

11. Disclaimers

The Service and skill packs are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that packs will produce a particular design outcome in every AI tool version, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Tool vendors (Claude, Cursor, Codex, and others) are independent; their outages or policy changes are outside our control.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skillux and its authors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for amounts exceeding the fees you paid to Skillux for the product giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Skillux against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit as an author, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, fraud risk, or legal requirement. On termination of a subscription, download access for catalog unlocks ends when the paid term ends (or earlier if terminated for breach). Licenses already granted for single-skill purchases survive only to the extent you remain in compliance with Section 5.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Skillux’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise. Disputes should first be raised with support; unresolved disputes may be brought in courts with jurisdiction over Skillux.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms: support@skillux.dev or Contact.
